Why am I getting charged more than I was quoted?

When quoting a shipment with FC Home, you will notice that if you hover your mouse over the three choices: First Room of Choice ($163.00 CAD), Room of Choice ($182.00 CAD), and White Glove ($206.00 CAD) the price is listed for each. If you are wondering why you are getting charged more than the price listed (depending on the service selected), the reason is the weight of the shipment! If a single piece of your shipment is weighing over 300 pounds, then please note that there will be a "third man" delivery fee of $35.00 CAD and for each pound over 300, an additional charge of $0.15 per pound.
