How do I book insurance for my shipment?

1. Login at www.freightcom.com.
2. Fill in the "Ship From" and "Ship To" sections.
3. Scroll down and find the "Dimensions & Weight" box.
4. Fill in your shipment's dimensions and weight and then enter in the amount you would like your shipment insured for.

   

5. If you're making a freight shipment, then in the "Additional Services" box, select which currency you're using to pay for insurance.

   

6. If you're making a courier shipment, then in the "Additional Services" box, select either Freightcom or carrier insurance.

   

7. Scroll to the bottom right-hand corner and click "Get Rates."
8. For each line item, you will see the shipping rate and the insurance cost shown separately.
