What are the deductibles for claims?

A deductible of $100 applies to all general merchandise and is standard for all insurance claims unless the freight falls under below categories:

• Goods that are classified as Fragile (including but not limited to Glass, Marble, Ceramics, Granite, Tiles, Pottery, and other similar breakables) are subject to a deductible of 2% of the total insured value with a minimum deductible of $250
• Goods that are classified as Electronics (including but not limited to TVs, Audio/Visual Equipment, Computers, Laptops, Cellphones, PDAs, Tablets, Gaming Systems, etc.) are subject to a deductible of 3% of the total insured value with a minimum deductible of $350
• Goods that are classified as Furniture/Signs/Lights and/or Lighting Equipment, Copiers/Printers, including accessories are subject to a deductible of 5% of the total insured value with a minimum deductible of $100
• Goods classified as Antiques, Original Artwork (including paintings, sculptures, etc.), and collectibles are not applicable for Freightcom Insurance. Please note these are also restricted articles with our LTL carriers and if accepted by the carrier, would be moving at shipper’s risk of loss or damage.
